Arkansas Statewide Elections
A State Office in the United States refers to a position within a state government, which operates at the state level. These offices include elected roles, such as Governor, State Legislators, and other officials like Attorney General or State Treasurer, as well as appointed positions within state agencies. State offices are responsible for creating and enforcing laws, managing programs, and providing services specific to the needs of their individual state. We will not list races that are unchallenged. *Indicates an incumbent.
State Treasurer
The Treasurer of the State of Arkansas is the chief financial officer of the government of Arkansas. The treasurer acts as the state's bank, accepting deposits in the form of taxes and fees, and disbursing funds to state agencies based on warrants from the auditor's office. The office is also responsible for providing state aid to local governments and investing the state's cash funds.
Note: This election is to fill the remaining two years of the State Treasurer's 4-year term, following the death of Treasurer Mark Lowery in 2023. Candidates with a * are currently in elected positions. If one wins, the Governor will appoint someone to fill their current role until voters choose a replacement in 2026. If they don't win, they'll stay in their current position.

Judicial Runoff
The offices of Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge of the Court of Appeals, Circuit Judge, District Judge, and Prosecuting Attorney are nonpartisan offices in Arkansas. The term nonpartisan is used to describe elections in which the candidates do not run with partisan (i.e. political party) labels.
Candidates indicated with a ** are current justices of the Supreme Court. Since a current justice will win, the Governor will appoint the replacement to their current seat until voters have the opportunity to choose the replacement in the 2026 election. The current justice who does not win will continue to serve in their current position.
